The students at DoMS,
Anna
University are always
enthusiastically involved in an array of activities both inside and outside the
campus.

The students roll out a periodical newsletter called “CONNECTIONS”, especially
meant for the alumni of the institution that carries snippets and accounts of
the events that take place in the department as well as about the student
placements and their activities, to help the alumni be abreast about the
happening in their alma mater.

Our students have participated in various national level
symposiums and events and won many accolades and bagged many awards. Some of the
events that the students were a part of include “K! MILLIONAIRE” at
Anna
University, “INSGIHT”
at LIBA, Chennai and KRIYA at Stella Maris to name a few.

Our students were adjudged first in the “K! MILLIONAIRE”
event conducted at
Anna
University. Our
students also actively took part in the various seminars and events conducted by
the Madras Management Association regularly. And they shone brightly in the
“CORPORATE CHANAKYA” event conducted annually by the Madras Management
Association.

A feather in the cap of DoMS is one of our students who has made us all proud by
having been selected as the “NISSAN STUDENT BRAND MANAGER” from among a number
of participants from across the country.

The students also actively take part in many summits and events conducted by
corporate firms from time to time. The students actively participated in the
Human Resource event “THE REAL PICTURE” conducted by Cognizant Technology
solutions to let the aspiring students become aware of the avenues and
opportunities in Human Resources.

Some of our students participated in all the events conducted by Madras
Management Association as part of their Annual Convention organized every year,
besides witnessing the two-day long conference as delegates.

Our students also organize various guest lectures, seminars and events where
renowned and famous personalities are invited to address them.

Our students organize ETHOS, an annual national level symposium of DoMS which
witnessed participation from students from across the country every year and it
was indeed a grand success.
